This is a reasonable exercise. What's missing is a worked-out example. We want for instructors to be able to pick up what you've done in class and use it, not use it to design their own exercise. So, what do you think the design for a restaurant should be? To make it realistic, consider only items that could be computerized (ordering system, billing, inventory, etc.). Unless you limit it carefully, the task could end up being much too long for a class period.
