Talk:Chapter 6: Joshua Mohundro, Patrick Wong
Can you give a reference for the advantages of using a sectored cache for multilevel caches?
Please reread the first section. I fixed a couple of typos, but there are several more.
Also, the first section would benefit from diagrams, like the second section has.
You definitely need to say where the table (Table 16) came from. Also, if you don't have permission to put it on the Web, it would violate copyright. To solve this, you should edit the table, changing the presentation of the data in some way, and using different terms where useful (e.g., it's not clear what "improved" means).
When you say associative caches require more logic (i.e., run slower), it would be better to say they require more complex logic and hence run slower. (More logic, of course, does not imply slower speed, or pipelined processors would be slower than non-pipelined.)
Another typo: "was very small" -> "were very small"
