This is where we can discuss our changes (I've been playing with the interface with my comments) - Reid

Hi guys, looking at the core rules summary list(the one with 4 rules and corollary rules), I think we may be able to combine a few. I'm still refining it - Nadeem

Rule #1 Comments

"Remember the Human" from The 4 Rules

I think we should add something to address youtube. Maybe something like "don't post a video that you wouldn't want to end up on the evening news."

Additionally, I think we should add something to address myspace, facebook, etc. Something along the lines of "don't post anything you wouldn't want your grandmother to read" or something like that. Also, along those same lines, we should mention that anything posted on a myspace/facebook page could negatively affect future employer's opinion of person.

Additional Rules

Don't post anything about anyone else that you wouldn't want posted about you.

This can apply to both MySpace and Facebook as well as YouTube and likely other social networking sites.

That's good, but I was thinking of combining rule 1 and 4. Something along the lines of Respect the opinions, feelings and time of others.

I can sum it up in three words: "Don't incriminate yourself."

I added a few things to the wiki: the external links section, a few lines about youtube, added a couple of basic rules, and I did a little reformatting to make it look a bit better. Feel free to add to or modify the things that I added. - Reid

I can't figure out how to cite sources. Can any one help? - Nadeem

I looked up some stuff on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/about.php You can add or remove what you want. Also, here is the terms page for facebook http://www.facebook.com/terms.php The list for user conduct rules is long. How much do you think we should include. - Nadeem

If you think of any more rules please add them. - Nadeem

I tried everything I could think of to get references/citing source to work. I don't think it's enabled for this wiki since the code listed in the wikipedia help file and in the help file they gave us doesn't work.

I'll just make it so the superscript isn't a hyperlink for the reference. - Nadeem

Did I miss any medium? Can you guys think of any others? Gaming was the last one I could come up with. - Nadeem
