I think you have made the page do what it is supposed to do, and nothing more. I was skeptical of removing the summary ... and I think a good summary would help. But the summary you removed was not much help.
Ditto for the glossary, which was only relevant when the state transition diagrams were on the page.
The peer reviewers also had several good insights.
