Instructor's Feedback on Your First Draft

As a first draft, this contribution falls short. What you have is a good start on biblical evidence. Good job on that. You need to expand your discussion of those scriptures. You need to bring in commentaries to dialog on the interpretation of those scriptures. You need dialog partners from extra research on your topic. If this was the final draft, you would not pass. But this is not the final draft! So, you are in OK shape. You have sound good evidence & discussion that you can build on.

Things to Improve:

1. Expand your discussion of the scriptures into fuller paragraphs & increase the number of paragraphs

2. Dialog with technical commentaries on those scriptures in relation to any comments they make about spiritual growth. The following commentary series are the most likely to be useful: The NIV Application Commentary Series, the Word Biblical Commentary Series, the New International Commentary on the New Testament, & the Baker Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament.
