Overview

WHO WANTS JAVA TO MAKE THEM MILLIONS?

We have remade the classic TV show game "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" but with a Java twist. Instead of a broad category of questions like the TV show all the questions on this game is related to Java and the topic of GUI's (Graphical User Interfaces). This game is perfect to teach the class about GUI's or even to review previously learned knowledge on GUI's. So are you ready to find out if you know enough Java to make millions? Play "Who Wants Java to make them Millions.

Participants and Prop

All students in the class will actively participate in the game and be encouraged to answer the questions. The exercise will use a PowerPoint slide show to display the topics and questions. Each student will answer a question. When you get the right answer you win and go to the next question. If you get it wrong you lose the game.

What is this "Game" about?

This game is based to the show called "Who Wants to be a Millionaire". Each selected student will answer questions and win money. As stated before, it is a simple game. if the contestant wins, the game will proceeded to the next question. but if you get one answer wrong you lose. Overall, 15 questions will be asked. Provided are the links to PowerPoint presentations which provide sample questions and show how the game flows. A video is also provide to demonstrate the content of the exercise.
