I think this is a very interesting idea ... worthy of publication even. I hadn't thought of it, and I don't remember seeing it in the literature. This could be a real contribution.
I think, though, that the presentation could be improved. Could you come up with a program, preferably one that has a loop, where one of the lines of code does not accurately implement the comment? That would really help show the value of this technique. What you've done so far is provide a neat idea; what I would like you to do is to provide an exercise that can actually be done in class to illustrate the process of debugging.
