&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;I really like this exercise.  It wouldn't take very long to do, and it should be sufficient to illustrate the concept.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I think it could be improved by having some kind of object that should _not_ be deep-copied.  Maybe if we are cloning students, their University object should not be copied, but rather both should be given a reference to the same university.  You can probably come up with a catchier example.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
